Are you thinking about getting a psychic reading but are NOT having any luck finding a good psychic anywhere near where you live? If you are anything like many of the people who enjoy our articles, one of the biggest obstacles you face when getting your own reading is finding a reputable reader, or a psychic service you feel comfortable with, right?

Let me share a little bit of my OWN experience with you, as well as a few of the more unusual readings I’ve had personally, in the hope that it shines a bright light on some of the BEST ways to get an amazing psychic experience, without having to spend a fortune to make it happen!

Tip #1 – Little Out of the Way Resort Towns

Okay… this may be coincidence, but in my two decades of experience with reading, writing and researching psychic phenomena, several of my BEST experiences have come in little out of the way towns that most people NEVER think of when it comes to seeing a psychic. (yet… they are usually RIPE with readers!) Key West, Florida… for example, was my first such experience, and millions of people go through there annually, yet only a fraction even stop in and see one of their world class (albeit eccentric) psychics. New Hope, Pennsylvania… the very same thing!

The key is, find little creative, artistic towns by you, and look in the yellow pages… you’ll almost always find psychics advertised, and ask around before you pick one. (you’ll find if you visit these places and ask… the locals will fill you in on the BEST ones to see for sure) I’ve done this in about 15 different “off the beaten path” style places, and it almost NEVER fails to offer great readings with interesting intuitiveness, and often for FAR less than you’d spend with a celebrity style reader who charges a ton!

Tip #2 – Online Meet ups

This is a GREAT way to get a great reading, and sometimes for free! All you really need to do is find a local “psychic” or paranormal meet up using the popular (and free) meet up finder online, and you can truly find some authentic and really gifted local psychics who are JUST starting out, and often will be more than happy to give you a “test” reading for free if you join the group.

As someone who writes about, and does a lot of psychic research, I’ve joined a bunch of these over the years and made friends with some amazingly talented psychics, who are generous, compassionate and OFTEN….are more than happy to “practice” on you for free! Remember though, the key is to join to participate, and make friends… and NOT take advantage of the generosity of others.

But you’ll find, if you’re intentions are good, and you get involved, the psychic benefits are well worth it to boot.

Of course you can ALWAYS call a reputable network, or individual intuitive on the phone, as well…

And get a great reading for 20 or 30 dollars, without leaving your home! (and I certainly do plenty of that as well). But the above 2 tips may be a bit unusual, but are a fun way to add some fun (and variety) into the mix, and a price that’s often surprisingly good as well!
