Tarot For The Everyday Pursuit Of Happiness

The Tarot reveals a strikingly symbolic ordering appropriate for meditation, so when consulting the Tarot, the cards are not to be read: what to read is life itself. The symbols are not resolved in situations, but suggest the significance of them. It is an invaluable means of self-knowledge that guides the journey of who we are, often without knowing it, point, course and goal.
And what of divination? If by that we mean not so much the prediction of events such as the understanding of the target, then divination is but the revelation of the alchemical process. I sense here the same conviction that led to enroll at the entrance to the Temple of Apollo oracle at Delphi, the maxim “Know thyself.” The Ethos is the genius configurator destination. Knowing one’s own destiny involves recognizing one’s own kind. For if we are there engaged in a process independent of mind that tends to a goal, it will be our destination.

And the events, which are but the situations which runs through our trip, only become clear once engaged as such.
The images of the Tarot do not mean people, things or events, but they project to people, things and events within the context of the inescapable psychic odyssey. Tarot characters burst into our lives (as do the characters in our dreams) to bring us messages of great importance, but modern man is on board as to the culture of the word, and it is difficult to interpret the nonverbal language of these images.

The journey through the Tarot cards, is basically a trip to our own depths. Anything you find on this trip is, in essence, an aspect of our deepest self. Since the origin of these cards date from a time when the mysterious and irrational were more real than today, they will serve as a bridge to take us in search of ancient wisdom that is still in our deepest self. A much-needed wisdom today, both to solve our personal problems to find creative answers to universal questions that concern us all. The most significant thing you can learn with the  help of  the Lotus tarot is to understand that the vast majority of the time, we are what we think we are. Thus  we  all need to overcome the ideas that do not correspond to ourselves so that we can be free from restraints and restrictions.
